Works & Utilities
Along with other departments, Public Works was formed upon the
City's incorporation on July 1, 1991. The department assumed control
over Elko County's Town Board operations and many of the County
employees who were managing the utilities in West Wendover elected
to transfer to the City. Today, the department includes two divisions
Public Works and Utilities. Within the two divisions, there are
three supervisors as well as clerical and operations staff totaling
20 employees.
