For the first time in 20 years, Historic Wendover Airfield will be hosting a B-29!
Join us for this special event as the B-29 ‘Doc’ visits us offering flights, ground tours, and a glimpse of Wendover Army Air Base circa 1945. ‘Doc’ will arrive at the airfield on Monday, May 9th and will be available for rides as well as ground and cockpit tours on May 10th and 11th. Our museum will open early on these two dates at 8:00am. The ride flight schedule for May 10th and 11th will be 9:00am and 11:00am, followed by ground and cockpit tours both days from 12:00pm to 4:30pm. Several WWII military vehicles will be on display from the Utah Military Vehicle Club as well as the HWA Museum’s own Jeeps and WWII fuel truck.
