Police Department
The West Wendover Police Department was formed on July 1, 1991, and is under the direction of Chief of Police Brad Hillaker. The Department contains five operating divisions: Administration, Patrol, Investigation, Animal Control and Dispatch.
In recent years, the department has fostered and implemented such civic programs as: CodeRed, Nixle, Gang Resistance Education And Training (G.R.E.A.T.), Police Activities League (P.A.L.), Domestic Violence Advocacy and Reserve Officer Training.
